01Understanding the treatment
Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR) and Thoracic EVAR (TEVAR) treat dangerous bulges (aneurysms) or tears in the aorta. Dr. Sandhu places a custom fabric-covered stent graft inside the aorta via femoral catheters, sealing off the aneurysm and preventing catastrophic rupture.
